Siam Quantum Square (SQ²)— Quantum Technology Center at Chulalongkorn Univerisity where Quantum Expertises meet interdiciplinary Science, Engineering and Industry.

Preparing to move toward Quantum Era, Siam Quantum Square (SQ²) is Chulalongkorn University's new flagship program dedicated to advancing quantum technology research and cultivating future talent. It convenes an interdisciplinary group of experts and students across physics, mathematics, computer science, materials science, chemistry, and engineering. The program's mission is to explore the fundamental nature of quantum physics and translate those insights into the development of quantum technologies.

Our main research focus is categorized into two main areas:

• Quantum Computing & Applications (QCA)

  utilizing algorithms to solve complex problems, i.e. logistic, energy grid including Quantum Simulation, Quantum Optimization, Quantum Machine Learning and Quantum Cryptography.

• Quantum Materials & Devices (QMD)

  focused on exploring and engineering novel materials with unique quantum properties, i.e. superconducting Qubits; and on measurement and control of quantum properties in devices.
